The code used to program web sites usually receives little attention from non-programming stakeholders. That is until something doesn'’t look right in some browser on some platform that wasn't tested prior to launch. Next comes questions like, "What's wrong?", "How soon can it be fixed?" and "Why wasn't this issue caught earlier?".
